I love beets, if for no other reason than they make smoothies look gorgeous.
Sorry for the abysmal photo but at least you can see the great colour.
1 beet (I used a cooked leftover beet that was peeled)
1 knob of ginger peeled
1 teaspoon spirulina
1 small bunch of kale
2 kiwi peeled
1 cup mango juice
1 scoop protien powder of choice
1 pear core cut out
Place all items in a vitamix or really good blender and mix until smooth.
The smoothie was a bit spicy with the ginger, I may cut down on it next time.
